The film "Le Départ” by Hunay Saday, commissioned by Chai Khana, has been selected for the Sevil International Women's Documentary Film Festival and will compete in the category "Best local short documentary". We wish Hunay best of luck!

Last year, "Le Départ'' was nominated in the best short documentary film category at DokuBaku Film Festival. 

Originally from Azerbaijan, Hunay Saday moved to France at the age of 15. She graduated from the University of Strasbourg where she studied Turkish language and literature while making personal photo and video projects in her spare time. She recently graduated from European Film College (Ebeltoft, Denmark).
