The Enigma of Faina, a festival star short ani-doc by Chai Khana's Production Manager from Azerbaijan Durna Safarova, will have two upcoming screenings in Spain and Scotland. 

On January 30th, The Enigma of Faina will be screened at the Woman & Film International Festival, "Dona I Cinema – Mujer y Cine.”

The short ani-doc will be screened as a part of the Official Selection in Valencia city (Venue - Cines Babel; Time:18:00 – 22:00).

The second screening will be at MANIPULATE, an international festival of visual theatre and animated film in Edinburgh, UK, a partner of the Edinburgh Short Film Festival. The screening is scheduled for February 4th (Venue Fruitmarket, Time: 11:00 – 12:30).

The Enigma of Faina, which Chai Khana produced, is the story of Faina Kungurova. Silenced by the authorities and forgotten by society, Faina was a mysterious woman with a revolutionary spirit to those who knew her during her time as a political activist. 

The Enigma of Faina has a rich screening history. The short animated documentary was already screened at 20 international film festivals.
