Film screening and Q&A with Varduhi Balyan on the event dedicated to 8 March International Women's day
Varduhi Balyan's film “Dialogue in a basket” comissioned by Chai Khana will be screened on the event dedicated to 8 March International Women's Day. The online event is organized by DIRECTED BY WOMEN TURKEY, Eskişehir Municipality and Danish Cultural Institute in Turkey.
The film depicts the lockdown period in a district of Istanbul from the point of view of two neighbors - an elderly Turkish woman and a young Armenian filmmaker. The film premiered on Chai Khana at the end of the August as part of the Isolation edition.
