Chai Khana extends a call for documentary filmmakers from Azerbaijan and Georgia for the series on the topic of Changing Landscapes. 

The films produced under the series are expected to translate/transform a concrete issue and challenge into a strong character driven story in order to give a first-hand experience of the existing problem. Starting from villages that fall through cracks in Georgia due to poorly regulated mining industry to the shortage of water in Azerbaijani villages, films should depict how decisions made by corporations and government can determine the fate of those who have no power to decide for themselves.

Documentary films produced should consider local, as well as international audience as a target. 

If shortlisted, Chai Khana editorial board will ask to provide a more detailed concept.

Chai Khana will offer selected candidates the honorarium of 1000 Euros + depending on individual pitches and the film budget.
