Hikmat Nazim

Based in Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Hikmat Nazim (Jarchiyev) started his journalism career in 2013 as a regional reporter for "Yeni Musavat" newspaper, where he reported  from the frontline.
After collaborating with "Sputnik" Information Agency in 2016, he wrote articles analyzing the Azerbaijani media at Novator.az in 2018-2021.
Hikmat Nazim attended USAID's Mentoring Program for Journalists and Media Representatives (2020-2021), GIPA and Deutsche Welle's Media Management e-school (2022).
Currently, he works as a freelance journalist.
