Basa Metreveli

Basa Metreveli is an ex-creative director and photographer from Georgia.
He holds a BA in Governance and Social Sciences (Free University of Tbilisi) and an MA in Philosophy (Ilia State University).
Recently, Basa was part of the art residency about the dominant narratives in the Caucasus region - Under the Shadow of Big Trees held by TPPM and the Tbilisi Photo Festival. In collaboration with Elene Shengelia, he conducted research on political posters held in the archive at the National Parliamentary Library. Based on his work, Basa created a pocket playbook How To Win Elections In Georgia.
