Our long time contributor Gular Abbasova is part of a new collective  exhibition ‘LISTEN TO ME AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND’ that spotlights works from a new generation of Azerbaijani visual artists.

The exhibition is part of the INVISIBLE FESTIVAL program. Gular and four other emerging female artists were selected for a three-month development program mentored by Rena Effendi.

The artists use photography, text, video and sound to tell intimate stories that evoke hidden realities. In addition to the art projects, a collective handmade photobook will be published as part of the exhibition.

‘LISTEN TO ME  AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND ‘ is supported by Salaam Cinema, in partnership with US Embassy, Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives and Untitled Gallery Tbilisi.
