Retrospective Voyage is my series I have created recently. Main idea is to put viewers in a traveler mode and try to visually experience what my grandfather did in his early ages. Series is full of humor, sarcasm,documental elements and of course a little bit of nostalgia. All the artworks has been created by hand,no digital manipulation had been committed. Only cutting paper and drawing on the prints technique. I used pattern of my grandfather in every image to symbolize his presence in certain country and colorful marker drawings has been done to indicate his colorful and vivid memories about his worldwide journey.
