How building partnerships outside of your ”comfort zone” can strengthen the potential impact of your film.

Laura Longobardi

Born in Rome and currently based in Geneva, Laura has been involved in the documentary industry for over 20 years. After several years working on international documentary coproductions within the Media department of the Eurovision, in the last few years, she has been developing a growing interest for the intersection between documentaries storytelling and human rights activism.

In 2019 she launched the Impact days at the FIFDH: the first-ever industry programme in the framework of the leading international festival dedicated to films and human rights.

The Impact Days are addressed to filmmakers from all over the world wishing to have a positive impact with their films, by being trained and connected to the wide ecosystem of changemakers operating in Geneva (over 750 NGOs active in the region). The programme is composed of an Impact Lab over several weeks, curated network opportunities with NGOs, Foundations and International Organizations as well as several other activities around Impact Production.
