On july 17-18, Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR), within the project Amplify, Verify, Engage (AVE), is organising a two-half day training session for Georgian journalists, non-governmental organisations and academia aimed at refining reporting skills and knowledge of challenges vulnerable groups face.

 

On July 17, the sessions will run from 10 am to 2 pm and will focus on pitching and reporting skills and how to report on environmental issues. On July 18, two sessions will focus on gender stereotyping, gender-sensitive reporting and gendered disinformation. The training sessions will last a half day on both days and will be conducted at Vera Terminal (Khorava str. 3, Tbilisi).
