“Politics via Podcasting in the South Caucasus”
Podcast is a new generation media. It brings the attention of young, energetic people who have ideas and opinions to share, but need a platform and a creative and dynamic format to do so. Although youth in South Caucasus already uses podcast as a way of expressing ideas and opinions, the quality of the podcasts and its technical details are frequently ignored.
By the project “Politics via Podcasting in the South Caucasus” Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung aims at creating the opportunity for the young enthusiasts and activists from the region to present their ideas by creating high quality podcasts.
Project is implemented and supported by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) South Caucasus Regional Office in Tbilisi and the Armenian branch of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Yerevan.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Active young individuals, 18-35 years old, from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, who are interested in the
political and social topics of their countries and want to raise awareness or share their thoughts regarding
particular social-political issues via fresh, new format of Podcast.
HOW TO APPLY?
Application form will include an up tօ 500 words essay in English on one of the topics below and the CV of
the applicant
- Inequality and distribution of wealth
- Gender equality
- Climate and environment
- Job market and labor rights
If you already have created podcasts, please send us one episode of your podcast with the essay on the
abovementioned topics.
