Unified Filmmakers Festival 2021

No other event in the last 75 years has revealed the weaknesses of our society as clearly as the COVID-19 pandemic. That's reason enough why UNIFIED FILMMAKERS FESTIVAL was launched, which gives filmmakers all over the world an opportunity to tell their personal story about this extraordinary time.
A jury of international filmmakers (announcement coming soon) will select from 1 May until 31 May 2021 their best films to compete for the jury prize. The online audience has to vote until 31 May 2021 for their best films. The 10-20 best films from each of the two prize and film categories will be shown at FILMFEST MUNICH and the best three will be awarded with following prizes.

After the end of FILMFEST MUNICH, it is planned to create an anthology of the best short films, which chronologically summarizes and illustrates the respective annual topic. The anthology will be part of a worldwide festival tour, which offers a curated short film program until mid 2022.
Submit your short film in any genre you want: Comedy or drama, horror or fantasy, documentary or experimental, low-end or high-end productions.
2 categories: under 5 min. and 5-20 min. Films longer than 20 minutes may be submitted after prior inquiry.
