Sima Bidikhova is 60 years old and lives with her dog Serka. It is already 20 years she is the only inhabitant of Okrokana village in Truso ravine. Sima is an Ossetian, an ethnic minority in Georgia. Her village is 2 hours north of Tbilisi, and has neither electricity, nor natural gas, and nor a pharmacy or a shop.

Tserovani settlement for IDPs was built 6 years ago, just after the Russian-Georgian war. At first it was a big settlement with standard houses, no yards or plants. However throughout these years, infrastructure and the urban sphere have notably developed here. The IDPs not only live here, but also develop businesses.
