Film produced by Chai Khana Fellowship selected for Visions du Réel Film Festival

The film "Moon Without a House," created  as part of the Chai Khana Fellowship, is competing in the prestigious Visions du Réel Film Festival.

Produced under the Chai Khana Fellowship, the film is featured in the Opening Scenes section. Our filmmaker fellow Atanur Nabiyeva and her film "Moon Without a House" are among 14 other films from around the world.

"Moon Without a House" centers on the filmmaker's return to her village at the foot of the mountain in Azerbaijan. The mountain is being swallowed up by quarries, disappearing along with her childhood memories. Once there, she captures the relationship between a young girl and her grandmother, depicting their daily life and the tenderness that binds them. Reflecting on these moments are her memories, weaving together a poetic tale.
