Katarina and the Tiger

Eighteen-year-old Katarina stands at a crossroads. Having just left the orphanage, she is preparing for her entrance exams while also taking part in nationwide protests.

Katarina, newly 18 and out of the orphanage, has faced a lifetime of injustice. With no clear vision for a better future, either for herself or her country, she becomes engulfed in the massive protests sweeping Georgia. She finds many connections between the orphanage and the modern Georgian political system. It seems that both self-expression and free speech are being suppressed in these cases. Though she sometimes loses hope, the support of her friends restores her faith.

She turns to filmmaking, seeking to bring her struggles and adventures to a wider audience.  2024 is a crucial turning point for her: will she find peace as she steps into adulthood, or will she give up on her dreams?
