Traffic Diary
Logline: The director, a scooter driver, collects the thoughts of passengers who are stuck in traffic and forced to think in a city paralyzed by road congestion.
On a sunny summer morning at 9:30 AM, a heavy traffic jam envelops the city, with cars and buses inching forward slowly. I am also there, driving my scooter through the frozen city and thinking about all the people who have to wait.
What do these people think about? What do they do? Do they ponder life's journey, recall their mistakes, relish moments of joy, or wrestle with their regrets? Who are these people, and what stories lie behind their expressions: are they lost in music, engaging with strangers through car windows, arguing, or deep in introspective conversations with themselves?
“Traffic Diary” is an introspective journey that unravels the intricate tapestry of urban existence. It travels through different people’s minds with a single question: what do they think of when they are stuck? This film tries to find answers and insight about life and existence.
