A chronicle of chaos

15.12.23

The film chronicles the chaotic events that took place in and around Nagorno Karabakh over the past 3 years and tells the stories of those who were uprooted by the conflict.

In the end of September 2023, the road linking Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia was full of cars in an endless traffic jam. After a nearly ten-month  blockade, Azerbaijan attacked Nagorno Karabakh, starting a war that lasted a day. The road that was closed for months finally opened, although only as a way out. Over the past few years, the people of Nagorno Karabakh have faced  wars,  displacements, a blockade, and a deadly explosion. Anush Shahramanyan and Narine Karapetyan were among over 100,000 people who were forced to leave their homes in September. They reflect on the chaos and tragedy they have experienced these past years.
