For 20 years Levon Afrikyan, a former miner in Alaverdi, Armenia, has struggled every day to survive.

A work accident left him disabled and the compensation he finally received was unbelievably low. The pandemic became another obstacle for Afrikyan to face all alone. Today he is fighting for decent living conditions and basic necessities, like a cane and crutches.
